I ended up watching LPs of Friendsim, but I did really enjoy playing Hiveswap Act 1. It's new stuff, but it still feels pretty cohesive with the original comic? And with Friendsim especially I've really liked getting more... context, I guess, for the first twelve trolls. Figuring out in which ways they're normal kids and in which ways they're exceptional (because looking at the human kids and their guardians, it's pretty clear that ectoclones do tend to be exceptional even before they play the game) - it turns out that Vriska seems within normal cerulean tolerances for being Just the Worst, but, like, at the high end of the normal range. :P
