...So I'm realizing that, especially since I stopped doing updates on the kink meme but to a lesser degree even before that, the length of individual chapters of Miracle Child has crept way up. I think I started with it being like... an AO3 chapter being 1.5-2k words? The last several have been in the 4-6k word range.

I think I'm going to try and pull that back a bit. Maybe not quite to as short as the first few chapters are, but some. Let myself do more cliffhangers, more multi-chapter arcs again. Hopefully it'll help me keep from getting quite so bogged down in writing, too - I like being able to post longer updates, but it's a tradeoff in that it makes it much harder for me to maintain anything like regular updates.

Also, as I move away from tumblr... I did like being able to have a separate space for the fic over there. Maybe a side journal here would work? A moderated community? That way people could still post/crosspost fanart to a central location if they want.

A moderated community sounds like it would be best for gathering fanart alongside your posts, and you could always change the settings if you don't want that anymore?

That's about what I'm thinking, yeah. I've always loved seeing the art people create for this fic, and I really want to be able to keep promoting those great artists.
