Coming down with a cold, which I'm pretty sure I got from my sister. She and our mom are trying really hard to sell me on the virtues of zinc tablets. Zinc tablets, which sis admits did not actually do anything for her on this same cold.

Granted, I'll admit my principles are a little shaky, given that I'm willing to use witchcraft to treat my cold but not homeopathy. In my defense the witchcraft consists mostly of tea.

Have you ever tried a thing called Emergen-C? It's this little fizzy packet you put into a cup of water but I noticed it really helped with flu/cold stuff, esp if I took it beforehand.

I tend to be pretty wary of the whole "megadose of a vitamin" supplement thing, but it probably would be a good idea for me to bump up my vitamin c intake a bit until I've kicked this.
